Nils Niehörster

Nils — entrepreneur, industry analyst and data scientist with more than 20 years of experience — founded three startups focused on complex data analytics before launching MODELYZR GmbH.
As the former owner of RAAD Research, he developed the groundbreaking ResearchPanel© technology, enabling complete market forecasting intelligence for the IT industry. The technology was adopted by leading global analytics firms and forms the basis of the analytical framework behind MODELYZR.

Nils is an expert in building advanced data analytics systems and has developed AI algorithms, computer vision applications based on pattern recognition, and predictive analytics models. His passion for working with complex data defines his entire career and expertise.

Your tasks

Strategic analysis & consulting

  • Analysis of market, competition and sales potential in the B2B environment
  • Interpretation of KPI, dashboard and AI analysis results
  • Derivation of concrete recommendations for action for marketing, sales and business development
  • Presentation of results at management level

Customer training & activation

  • Implementation of workshops and training courses
  • Support with the integration of our analytics solution into decision-making processes
  • Promoting the sustainable use of our platform

Project work & responsibility

  • Collaboration in national and international customer projects
  • Structuring customer requirements and analytical questions
  • Close collaboration with analytics, data and development teams
  • Gradual assumption of project responsibility

Your profile

  • Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, data analytics or comparable
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
  • Very good understanding of business administration
  • Interest in consulting, business analytics and data-driven strategy
  • First practical experience (e.g. consulting, strategy, marketing, sales, analytics) an advantage
  • Confident handling of data; SQL knowledge helpful
  • Business fluent in German and very good English

Your Responsibilities

  • You support our development team in building modern, intuitive frontends that impress our users.
  • You contribute your own ideas and help make complex analytics easy to access, tangible, and enjoyable to use – with a real wow effect.
  • Together with your colleagues in backend and frontend development, you work on building, developing, and rolling out prototypes with completely new features.

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled in a (Business) Computer Science or similar degree program.
  • You already have first experience with frontend development tools such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Knowledge of frameworks like UI5, React, or AngularJS is a big plus. Ideally, the term SAP Fiori also rings a bell for you.
  • You have a good sense for user experience and enjoy presenting complex topics in a simple way. You are creative and have an eye for good layout and design.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English (C1 level).
