Reliable protection against cybercrime, tailor-made software tools for optimal internal and external communication and much more: Modelyzr GmbH is driving forward its own digitalization. We applied for “Digital Jetzt” funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) – and were successful thanks to a convincing concept and a certain amount of perseverance.
With MODELYZR, we provide our customers with a modern, digital and future-proof tool that ensures a paradigm shift in marketing and sales and thus helps to increase the company’s success. Of course, Modelyzr GmbH also aims to create its own growth and increase demand for our data analytics engine. To ensure this, we have developed a comprehensive digitalization strategy and convinced the BMWi with it, so that we can now look forward to state funding.
Future-oriented equals digital
We want to offer our users and potential new customers the best possible support. Our employees need to be equipped to do this – so it is essential that our workstations are optimally equipped. As a modern software company, we know that “future-oriented” equals “digital”. That’s why we are developing digital processes and have put together a whole package of individual investments. To enable companies to exploit the economic potential of digitalization, the BMWi has launched the “Digital Jetzt” funding programme. Modelyzr CIO Björn Fleischmann provided the impetus to apply for funds from the funding pot. “Eligible applicants are selected by lottery at regular intervals. So we had to keep at it and apply at the right time. After a few attempts, it finally worked out so that we were able to submit our application. To do this, we had to develop a coherent digitalization concept in which the planned investments were specified. We had to explain the need for digital technologies and demonstrate the fundamental improvement in terms of the “Digital Jetzt” funding objectives that would be achieved through their introduction. Our concept was convincing and was found to be worthy of funding,” he says, delighted with the approval.
Employees and customers benefit from improved technological equipment
With the help of “Digital Now”, we are introducing numerous technological innovations to further professionalize our digital infrastructure and make it scalable. One specific example is our state-of-the-art conference room, which offers optimum image quality, the best possible sound and interaction options. This benefits both our existing customers and the Modelyzr team itself: Instead of having to deal with minor or major technical problems, both sides can concentrate on a meeting that is in no way inferior to a face-to-face meeting.
In order to further improve project management and customer support, individual processes that were previously implemented using different tools are now being brought together on a central, digital platform. This allows the cogs of our individual departments to mesh even more smoothly. The JIRA solution from the manufacturer Atlassian is the industry standard and is used by the largest and most innovative companies in the world. By introducing a new telephone system, we are also taking communication with each other and with customers, leads and partners to a new level. We are also introducing digital time recording, training for the Modelyzr team and improvements to our website. We are also taking big steps forward in terms of IT security. A new firewall will be set up in future and another backup server will be purchased to support reliability. “The planned purchases are the most modern available on the market. That gives me peace of mind,” emphasizes Björn.

Rather, it is our fundamental aim to offer all employees the best possible working environment. This is reflected in individual training opportunities as well as a modern and competitive IT infrastructure.
