Tested quality: companies can now also purchase our data analytics solution MODELYZR via the SAP Store. In this five-question interview, our Managing Director Nils Niehörster explains the requirements that need to be met and also assesses the significance for our company.
Question: Nils, the MODELYZR is now also available in the SAP Store. What does this mean for our company?
Nils Niehörster: The listing is very important to us, it is a confirmation of our work and a real reason to be pleased. After all, SAP has elevated our product to the status of a standard solution that stands out from the crowd of other software tools. The fact that we can already celebrate this success in our still relatively young company history is particularly noteworthy, as certain requirements have to be met for this.
Question: What are the advantages of being included in the SAP Store?
Nils: SAP naturally wants to provide a very high-quality range in its own store. Our potential customers and sales partners can therefore rely on having a quality product in front of them. The MODELYZR offers real added value, otherwise we would have been denied access to the sales platform. SAP itself checked this in a multi-stage process and confirmed it by including it in the store.
Question: What requirements must be met for a product to be included in the store?
Nils: The requirements for being listed in the store include not only a registered SAP partnership, but also, for example, a guarantee of data security. It must also be a tool that is already being used by several users. Technological conditions must also be met. It was also helpful that MODELZR runs on SAP HANA and can be operated in the SAP Business Technology Platform.
However, not only the product itself, but also we as a company were tested. How long has Modelyzr GmbH been around? Are the business figures solid? These are examples of questions that have to be answered in the course of this audit.
Question: What decisive added value can SAP users generate with our product?
Nils: Decision-making based on CRM or ERP data is not something that other companies haven’t come up with before us. And so there is a huge range of solutions to choose from in the field of data analytics, the quality of which covers the entire spectrum from “really helpful” to “practically useless”. SAP’s BI portfolio, for example, certainly belongs to the first category and can be used to support sales and marketing.
What everyone misses, however, is the ability to look beyond their own systems. Of course, valuable insights can be gained simply by linking all existing data sources in the company. MODELYZR is also a valuable tool for breaking down silo structures. However, a holistic view of the market can only be obtained if external data sources are also included. Enhanced with powerful machine learning processes, this results in a real gain in knowledge and, thanks to predictive analytics or next-best-offer scenarios, sales and marketing measures can be implemented much more accurately.
Question: With its inclusion in the SAP Store, MODELYZR is one of the leading data analytics tools. How will this area develop in the future?
Nils: At the moment, data analysis is in most cases still the task of specially trained specialists. This will soon change, as data-driven processes are becoming increasingly important for a company’s success. No company will be able to afford to plan and set these up from an ivory tower, so to speak. With MODELYZR, companies can not only position themselves technologically, but also future-proof in this respect, because it integrates a standardized set of evaluations that always calculate and display the most important KPIs. This means that even employees who have never dealt with data analytics before can work with it.
